Who Is This For?
True Swing offers Certification levels for both Lead Coaches and Assistant Coaches.
Lead Coaches:
- A member or apprentice in PGA/LPGA is highly recommended OR a USGT Certified Coach is highly recommended.
- Must have at least 4 years of golf instruction experience.
Assistant Coaches:
- Have at least 2 years of experience as a golf instructor.

How It Works
Step 1: Initial Interest and Apply
- Watch Introductory Video: Watch the brief video below which will showcase the True Swing philosophy from Erika Larkin. This will help you understand the True Swing core principles and approach.
- Apply Online: If the video resonates with you and you feel like you are qualified and interested, complete the simple application form below.
- Internal Review: The True Swing team will review your application and will confirm if you are a good fit and okay to proceed with the next steps.
Step 2: Initial Interest and Apply
Step 3: Remote Preparation
- Receive Remote Material: Obtain a comprehensive toolkit designed to help you test out and familiarize yourself with the program's content and structure.
Step 4: Demonstration of Skills
- Quiz & Video Submission: Complete an online quiz to test your knowledge and submit 2 sample video lessons for review. This step ensures you have a solid understanding of the material and can effectively demonstrate your coaching skills.

Review, Feedback & Confirm: The True Swing team will review and confirm if you are ready to become a True Swing Certified Coach.
Step 5: Agreement & Certification Payment
- Review & Execute Agreement: You will be sent our standard True Swing Coaches Agreement to review, ask questions as needed, and sign.

Collect payment: You will be sent a link to collect your payment for the True Swing Certification.
Step 6: In-Depth Training & Hand-On Experience
Step 7: Certification and Onboarding
- Get Certified: Complete the final logistics of the certification process based on your performance and participation throughout the previous steps. This will include reviewing next steps. This certifies you as an official coach under the True Swing program.

Certificate and Badge: You will be sent your True Swing Certificate as well as instructions on how to add your online certification badge to your digital properties.

Announce your status: Share the excitement with your audience
Step 8: Launch Your Coaching Career & Promotions
- Teaching & Generate Revenue: Upon certification, you will be offered opportunities to run your own programs at your preferred golf location. The True Swing team will be promoting its Certified Coaches to drive business your way!

Get Exposure: We will be featuring you on the True Swing website, emails, YouTube and other social properties.
Step 9: Maintain Status
- Requirements: You will be giving a list of basic items required to maintain status as a True Swing Certified Coach. Note: The exact details are still being finalized but will include items such as social media posting, offering video tips/content for the True Swing library, coaching a minimum number of students using the True Swing methodology over the course of a year, and maintaining positive ratings from your students.

Periodic meetings and conferences: This is also being finalized, but there will likely be optional opportunities to attend True Swing meetings and conferences (some virtual and some in person).
- Beta Group Price Reduction: Take advantage of our special pricing for the initial beta group. Typical Certification will be $2,500. Currently True Swing is looking to create a small and elite group of Certified True Swing Coaches for only $500. Assistant Coaches only pay $250 during the beta program.
- Earnings Potential: Increase your revenue by attracting more clients and offering premium coaching services. There will be a revenue share on every student that True Swing sends your way (this will be a sliding scale anywhere between 60-80% depending on experience and status as a coach within the True Swing program).
